English Schools usually celebrate it to bring the culture to their classroom environment, but we don&#8217;t have a tradition of celebrating it.<\/p>\n<p>I can&#8217;t imagine how parents would feel to let children knock on doors asking for candy&#8230;..I don&#8217;t think it would be a culturally accepted party due to the reality in the majority of Brazilian Cities, where people are really careful about their children and their safety.<\/p>\n<p>Leaving that aspect behind, I looked for some famous Brazilian Candy recipes which I will be sharing here on our blog:<\/p>\n<p>This featured recipe is : Bom Bom de Uva<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_54\" style=\"width: 235px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-54\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-54\" title=\"img_0861\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cktranslations.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/img_0861-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"bombom de uva\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.cktranslations.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/img_0861-225x300.jpg 225w, http:\/\/www.cktranslations.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/img_0861-768x1024.jpg 768w, http:\/\/www.cktranslations.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/img_0861.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-54\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">bombom de uva<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Minha mae sempre fazia este doce nos nossos aniversa\u00a1rios&#8230;.( my mother always made this candy on our birthdays&#8230;)<\/p>\n<p>Bombom de Uva<\/p>\n<p>INGREDIENTES:<\/p>\n<p>1 lata de leite condensado (395 g) (1 can of condensed milk)<\/p>\n<p>1 gema (1 egg yolk)<\/p>\n<p>1 cacho de uvas brancas sem caroco (tipo moscatel) ( 1 bunch of green seedless grapes)<\/p>\n<p>300 g de chocolate cobertura ao leite (optional Chocolate for coating)<\/p>\n<p>asucar refinado (refined sugar)<\/p>\n<p>MODO DE PREPARO:<\/p>\n<p>Leve ao fogo o leite condensado com a gema peneirada, mexendo at desgrudar do fundo da panela. ( Cook the condensed milk with the yolk until it is not sticking to the pot anymore)<\/p>\n<p>Retire, deixe esfriar em um prato por no ma\u00adnimo 6 horas (para que a massa descanse). ( Let it cool for at least 6 hours)<\/p>\n<p>Modele a massa nas macos, formando capinhas para as uvas.( Open little pieces in round shapes, put the grape inside and close it)<\/p>\n<p>Enrole uma a uma e passe levemente no ascar e pela cobertura de chocolate, dissolvida em banho-maria.
