I used this song to teach summer vocabulary class and I thought I should include it here, because it reminds me of Bahia and it has a special acaraje\u00a0 Sunday afternoon taste. Acaraje is a delicious bean cake, which is fried in dende oil and brought to Bahia from African Slaves when they arrived- DELICIOUS! The song brought the idea of vacation and\u00a0 healthy peaceful laziness feeling that my state has received through the years by other Brazilian states.<\/p>\n

I hope you enjoy the song and the video which features, Toquinho e Gilberto Gil, very nice!<\/p>\n
